For the series Anticipation of the Moment I use book pages with architectural representations, whose closed form I break down into individual fragments. This is done with the help of the optical properties of the glass strips - projection into the foreground when looking through them and reflection of the subject when looking at the side edges. The eye does not find a foothold, since the focal plane is on the one hand on the plane of the paper, and on the other hand is pulled forward by the refraction of the glass. The image thus appears virtual and dematerialized. It floats like a hologram and composes itself into ever new graphic constellations as you pass by. I want to add a spatial and a temporal dimension to the frozen moment in photography.
